"I am writing to let South Carolina folks know just what an extremely talented and knowledgeable massage therapist Art Blodgett is.
I met Art through a referral from a friend after a failed disk surgery left me in pain. For the next twenty-five years Art helped me keep back pain at bay. He is so knowledgeable.
I have received massage therapy from many people over the years- and for me Art was the best. He is also a good human being.
A good man.
I strongly recommend Art without reservation"

"I cannot recommend Art highly enough! He gives a REAL massage. Art is beyond knowledgeable about the body and its needs. I was referred to him by both my personal trainer and physical therapist as I recovered from knee replacement surgery, and saw him religiously since that first meeting. I credit Art with getting me back to my active lifestyle. Go see him!!!"

"Seeing Art for over a decade was life changing. Not only was the regular massage impactful but Art’s knowledge of the body and his decades of experience enable him to quickly identify problem areas and address them. Art was also responsible for solving a lifelong nerve/muscle issue that many specialists were unable to solve. He did this by paying close attention to what my body was saying over time and then recommending a specialist who was able to take care of the issue. I highly recommend him."

"I began my long distance running career at age 33 when I ran the Boston Marathon on a dare bet. In 1992 I was introduced to Art Blodgett. With his incredible knowledge of the human body, work ethic and devotion to the best result possible for his clients, I had found the solution to my injury issues. The added bonus was as a distance runner himself he could relate to me better than the average massage therapist.
I never had an injury lasting more than 2 or 3 days. Whenever I made a training mistake, Art would be my “911” and I’d be back on the roads in 48-72 hours.
In 2007 I became a high school cross-country and track field coach. I recommended many parents and protégés to Art and always got positive feedback. I have continued with Art until his move from Massachusetts to South Carolina and he has been indispensable to my running career , still, at age 74".

"Art was initially referred to me by a post-op surgeon. That was twenty-nine years ago. Put simply, Art is a miracle worker.
His knowledge of anatomy, training practices and capacity to diagnose matters beyond his massage practice is beyond impressive. Once he “knows” his clients, he has a horse whisperer quality to gauge one’s whole body.
I’ve referred friends who’ve all reply in unison, Art has a unique gift. Going beyond the professional, he’s a dedicated family man, Christian and proud veteran. The Palmetto State ought to celebrate his arrival !"

"I started using Art Blodgett in the early nineties for general muscle therapy. As a runner, it was so helpful to my overall well-being. In 2009, I had neck surgery, and Art's help was amazing. I continued seeing Art until he left for South Carolina. His knowledge of the body is outstanding. After over thirty years as my massage therapist, I miss the therapy, how I felt after my appointments and I miss Art. Do not hesitate to try Blodgett Massage/Muscle Therapy; you will not be disappointed."
